Located on a rocky promontory overlooking the historic old town and Lake Annecy, the Château d’Annecy is a former residence of the Counts of Geneva and the Dukes of Savoy-Nemours, built between the 12 and 16 centuries. Today, it houses a multi-disciplinary museum managed by the city.
